WILDAID & UWA

CONSERVATION CAMPAIGN

The Challenge

WildAid, in partnership with the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA), needed to distribute messaging about the positive benefits of wildlife conservation to Ugandans. The challenge was reaching segments of their audience that are traditionally difficult to access through mainstream TV adverts.

The Solution

Starting in early 2020, WildAid leveraged Tambula Digital Media's long-distance bus network. This ensured that passengers, who are a captive audience during their travels, would engage with the content without the ability to switch channels.

The Result

The campaign successfully met WildAid's expectations in reaching their target population. Tambula's team provided regular, detailed monitoring reports, proving excellent value for money. As a result, WildAid continues to look forward to expanding their reach alongside Tambula's growing network.

"Working with Tambula has been straightforward and efficient... that the audiences are captive and cannot switch channels during our content is a benefit of using Tambula's platform." -
Maz Robertson, East Africa Representative, WildAid

MISS TOURISM UGANDA

CONTENT & DISTRIBUTION

The Challenge

The Miss Tourism Uganda search required nationwide awareness to attract contestants and engage the public across different regions. They needed a partner who could both create compelling visual content and distribute it to a mass audience outside the central Kampala bubble.

The Solution

Tambula Digital Media stepped in as a full-service partner. Our team handled the content creation process, producing a high-quality video advert specifically tailored for transit screens. The content was then scheduled and broadcast across our extensive bus network, hitting major routes in the Northern, Western, and Eastern regions.

The Result

The campaign generated massive nationwide awareness for the Miss Tourism search. By targeting passengers on long journeys, the visually engaging content captured the attention of thousands of daily commuters, significantly boosting public interest and engagement.

URBAN BRAND AWARENESS

COMMUTER TRAIN CAMPAIGN

The Challenge

A growing consumer brand wanted to penetrate the urban workforce in Kampala. They needed to establish consistent, daily visibility among professionals and commuters travelling between the city centre and the surrounding suburbs without getting lost in the clutter of roadside billboards.

The Solution

Tambula Digital Media deployed their campaign on the Kampala Commuter Train network, which operates daily between Nasser Road and Mukono. The advert was played during scheduled commercial breaks interspersed with curated entertainment content, targeting up to 4,000 daily commuters.

The Result

The campaign provided reliable, repeated exposure to a predictable audience throughout the working week. The brand saw a 214% increase in brand engagement, proving the power of a captive environment for short, targeted campaigns.
